Tinnitus Research Initiative is a privately funded organisation dedicated to the development of effective treatments for all types of tinnitus so that relief can be obtained by everyone who suffers from it (www.tinnitusresearch.org). The TRI Tinnitus clinics are based on this philosophy and integrate clinical neuroscience with patient care. They are by definition multidisciplinary, capable of providing both evidence based and newly emerging treatments for tinnitus.  TRI Tinnitus Clinics form an international collaborating network of highly specialized tinnitus centers each with its own specific specialty, for example rTMS treatments in Regensburg, audiological fitting in Milan and Oakland, surgical treatments in Antwerp.
